Teen bicyclist hurt in Schaumburg

Schaumburg police are investigating a collision between a motor vehicle and a bicycle Tuesday afternoon that sent the teenage bicyclist to the hospital with minor injuries.

The collision was reported at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Springinsguth Road and Hartmann Drive, Schaumburg police Sgt. Christy Lindhurst said.

As the bicyclist was a juvenile, police were releasing no further information Tuesday.
