Talent show hosted by United Senior Pariwar Chicago in Morton Grove
Bartlett: Members of one of the leading senior association in Chicago area, United Senior Pariwar Chicago hosted a talent show on a grand scale on Saturday July 21st, 2018 in St. Mary Knanaya Catholic Church located in the town of Morton Grove. More than 300 seniors and invited guests enjoyed this talent show.
The event was started with prayer and lord Ganesh stuti by Mrs. Ranjanben Dave and at the same time all the committees members with their spouse came forward on the stage to offer flowers to lord Ganesh. Mr. Ramesh Chokshi secretaru of this senior association in his address welcome all seniors and guests including Dr. Dhiren Misrty ( Board of trustee.),Mrs. Ushaben Kamariya ( advisory committee Member), Shree Narsinhbhai Patel( President of Indian seniors of Chicago), and their committee members as well. He also briefed the details of the program and stated that there are six different categories of competition and seniors will participate.
In the singing competition there were nine female singers and they were (1) Bhadraben Shah (2) Niharikaben Maniyar (3) Smita Sutaraia (4) Purnimaben Bhatt (5) Ranjanben Dave (6) Nayna Oza (7) Jotsana Chokshi (8 Ramaben Soni and (9) Jyotsna Shah and winners were 1st. prize- Bhadraben Shah, 2nd prize- Niharikaben Maniyar, 3rd. Prize- Smita Sutaraia.
There were 5 male singers in male singing competition and they were (1 Mahendra Oza (2) Mahesh Danak (3) Suresh Rami (4) Nalinkant Parikh (5) Gunvant Son and the winners were 1st. prize- Nalinkant Parikh ,2nd. Prize- Gunvant Soni.
Moreover Solo Dance perform by (1) Dr. Hema Rana and (2) Ramesh Chokshi as well as couple Dance by (1) Niharika & Yogesh Maniyar,(2) Utra & Ajit Majmudar (3) Jyotsana & Ramesh Chokshi.
A three part shravan play was presented by seniors, a story based on young boy how he takes his parents to various temples in India for lords darshan which was received a good response from Seniors and guests. Artists of the play were (1) Purnimaben Bhatt,(2) Sudhakar Shah(3) Ajit Majmudar, (4) Mahendra Oza,(5) Nayna Oza,(6) Devendra Doshi,(7) Vithalbhai Patel and (8) Utra Majmudar.
A glittering Raas and Garba ws also performed and performers were (1) Nayna Oza Choreographer, (2) Mahendra Oza(3) Kirit Madhiwala (4)Ranjan Madhiwala(5) Ranjan Dave(6) Utra Majmudar (7) Ramesh Chokshi(8) Jyotsana Chokshi(9) Devendra Doshi (10) Daxa Doshi.
Comedy Jocks were also presented by (1) Ramesh Shah (2) Pravin Khatri (3) Sudhakar Shahand all are enjoyed it.
The entire program was a home production of senior association and directed and written By Kishorbhai Dave and Mr. Mahesh danak was in charge of audio and video production,
The judges o this talent show were (1) Mr/ Atulbhai Soni (2) Mrs. Rittaben Patel both famous singer of Chicago area and Mrs. Ushaben Kamaria Legal Adviser of senior association and a community activist.
Mr. Ramanbhai Patel president of this association also address the members and congratulated to all of them, who participated in the show.
Prizes were distributed by Mr. Narsinhbhai Patel and Ramanbhai Patel presented a bouquet to him. Mr. Chhitubhai Vice President, Mr. Rohitbhai Joshi and Mr. Kanubhai Patel also presented bouquet to all judges (1) Atulbhai soni (2) Mrs. Ritaben patel (3) Mrs. Ushaben kamaria respectively.
At the a delicious dinner was served which was catered by Uru Swati Restaurant pf Chicago area.
Mrs. Mandaben Danak and Mrs. Smitaben Sutaria were master of ceremony.
