RE/MAX Realtor Lindsay Szwed Supports Children's Miracle Network Via Golf Outing

RE/MAX Suburban Realtor Lindsay Szwed is slated to swing her clubs in the Monday, August 13 2nd annual RE/MAX Suburban Golf Outing at the Royal Melbourne Golf Course. The 2nd annual Re/Max Suburban Golf Outing is open to the public and aims to raise even more funds and attract even more golfers this year.

Last year's outing brought in an amazing $11,000 for the Children's Miracle Network, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and earned the brokerage CMN's Outstanding Fundraiser Award for 2017. In addition, RE/MAX Suburban agents collectively donated over $53,000 dollars to CMN and Lurie's throughout the year. Szwed is a huge advocate and encourages the community to support CMNs efforts that raise funds for Children's Hospitals, research and overall children's health issues.

RE/MAX Suburban has been affiliated with CMN for over 20 years, and the Golf Outing is the latest platform for contributing towards the cause. This year Szwed and the combined hearts and efforts of "Miracle Agents" at eight local RE/MAX Suburban offices want to beat 2017's 205-plus golfers and 45 additional participants that contributed and joined for the day's events. The public is encouraged to contribute and attend, regardless of whether or not they choose to golf. The event offers attendees multiple areas to dine, drink and relax by the club's pool.

With the pride of being part of the largest RE/MAX agency in Northern Illinois and a real estate company that is widely known for giving back, Szwed has built her name by giving selflessly to the community, in addition to helping families through the real estate process. The former teacher turned real estate expert sought out a brokerage that matched her values of philanthropy and always doing the right thing, and the RE/MAX Suburban team was the perfect match to quickly grow a real estate career with purpose. Szwed has become one of the area's go-to agents with her specialty in helping buyers, sellers, first-time home buyers and those looking to relocate and downsize once they become empty nesters. With every transaction, Szwed also donates a part of her commission to CMN on behalf of her client.

With Szwed's teaching background and being a parent herself, she has witnessed firsthand how families can be rocked by having a sick child. She believes a family should never have to question whether they can afford care for their sick child, and the Golf Outing is the perfect platform to help contribute towards this great cause.

"I truly believe the more you give, the more you receive from the universe," concluded Szwed. "The Golf Outing is going to be a great time with great people for a great cause so come join us!"
