Experience outdoor music during Summer Breeze Concert Series

Live music and lakeside views are an ideal combination for a summer evening.

Sponsored by Schaumburg Park District and the Village of Schaumburg, the free Summer Breeze Concert series kicks off at 7 p.m., July 7, on the grounds of Robert O. Atcher Municipal Center, 101 Schaumburg Court.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, picnic food and beverages for the free shows.

"It's like a mini Ravinia in our own backyard," said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. "Some attendees get up and dance while others relax with their friends."
