Photography by Elizabeth Clower on Display at North Suburban YMCA

The North Suburban YMCA welcomes local photographer Elizabeth Clower as its guest artist for July in the Y's Community Gallery. Clower, a resident of Wheeling, presents a collection of colorful and evocative images from Southeast Asia, where she lived from 2003 to 2014. Her photographs will be on display until July 31 and are available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the YMCA's Visual Arts programs.

The NSYMCA's Community Gallery provides the opportunity for artists living and working in the northern suburbs to display their work to the public. Paintings, prints, photographs, and other two-dimensional works are hung in month-long exhibits throughout the Y's upper level. The YMCA is located at 2705 Techny Road in Northbrook. For information about participating as a Community Gallery artist, contact Cathie Winnie, cwinnie@nsymca.org.
