Join Smiles For Veterans charity bike/auto run Sept. 22
The second annual Smiles For Veterans charity bike/auto run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Montgomery Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7542, 121 N. River St., Montgomery.
The 100-mile ride, including three stops, begins at 10:30 a.m.
Tickets are $20 per rider and $15 per passenger.
Each ticket donation includes a complimentary breakfast at the Montgomery VFW from 8 to 10 a.m. This VFW Auxiliary event will support a veterans program which provides free dental care to those veterans in need. There will be live entertainment.
Enjoy a barbecue pig and chicken roast dinner with all the fixings from 2 to 5 p.m.; cost is $9, $5 for youth under age 12.
There also will be 50/50 raffles and a silent auction featuring motorcycle accessories, sports-related items, gift baskets, and more.
