Nicor Gas System Improvements to Begin in Park Ridge

Nicor Gas is making meaningful investments in modernizing and improving its natural gas infrastructure to ensure every customer's energy needs are met safely and reliably. Investing in Illinois, a Nicor Gas system improvement initiative, is a multi-year program to replace aging natural gas pipelines, move natural gas meters from inside homes and businesses to outside, upgrade natural gas storage systems and refurbish stations that regulate the natural gas pressure in our system. These enhancements fall in line with the company's highest priority, which is to provide natural gas safely to all of its customers.

Investing in Illinois work is scheduled to begin this month in Park Ridge in the areas of:

• 1000-1041 N. Dee Road

• 748-801 N. Delphia Ave.

• 2303-2325 Edna Ave.

• 1001-1028 Fortuna Ave.

• 800-829 N. Hamlin Ave.

• 748-801 Lincoln Ave.

• 804-1717 Marvin Parkway

• 648-1001 N. Northwest Highway

• 1052 N. Northwest Highway

• 2121 Oakton St.

• 2200-2328 Oakton St.

• 1012-1121 N. Parkwood Ave.

• 2204-2319 Ruth Ave.

• 805-955 Seeley Ave.

• 701-764 N. Seminary Ave.

• 774-950 Wilkinson Parkway

• 2400 Woodland Ave.

Customers impacted by these modernization efforts will be contacted by Nicor Gas, either by a newsletter highlighting the system improvements and project details, a door hanger left at their home or an in-person visit from one of Nicor Gas' employees or contractors.
