Grains lower and livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery declined 21.80 cents at $5.0260 a bushel; Jul corn was off 9.80 cents at $3.6660 a bushel; July oats fell 9.40 cents at $2.29 a bushel while July soybeans lost 13.80 cents at $9.2720 a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell .96 cent at $1.0752 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was off .83 cent at $1.4532 a pound; June lean hogs was rose .55 cent at .8125 a pound.
