Harper employees to get tuition break at Robert Morris

Full-time employees at Harper College will be able to get a discount on tuition at Robert Morris University Illinois, under a new partnership agreement between the two institutions.

Harper employees will receive a $1,500 per class scholarship for up to 15 classes, provided they begin the program by September 2018. Robert Morris will evaluate prior college credit for transferability and possible credit for work experience in undergraduate programs, officials said.

"Harper values professional development and growth, and the RMU program provides a great opportunity to pursue an advanced degree from a reputable institution at a discounted cost," said Harper College Chief Human Resources Officer Roger Spayer in a news release announcing the program.
