Report: Blagojevich asks President Trump for clemency
Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich has formally asked President Donald Trump to commute his sentence, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.
Last week, Trump said he was considering commuting Blagojevich's sentence.
Blagojevich began serving a 14-year prison sentence on corruption convictions in 2012. He's scheduled to be released in 2024.
