Lily Lake Grade School to host Centennial Celebration Community Fair

Come out for a day of fun, community, music, games and food to celebrate Lily Lake Grade School's 100th anniversary.

From the 1920s to the 1940s, Lily Lake hosted a Community Fair. As part of the 100th anniversary, they are turning back the clock and celebrating the old fashioned way, with a fair.

On Sunday, June 10, Lily Lake Grade School, 5N720 Route 47 in Lily Lake, will host an open house from 1 to 5 p.m.

Pieces of the history of Lily Lake will be on display in the gym, and a tours of the school will be given at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Music during the day will be provided by Highway Life.

The opening ceremony will be at 12:45 p.m. The Kevin Presbrey Band will perform at 1 p.m., followed by The Frizz at 2 p.m., Matthew Janecek & The Western Sage at 3 p.m., and Majors Junction at 4 p.m.

Central District Girls Softball will have their concession stand open, so you can eat, play, listen to music and celebrate Lily Lake's 100th anniversary!
