Schaumburg Office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group to Hold Share Your Soles Shoe Drive
The Schaumburg office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group will hold a Share Your Soles Shoe Drive at the office on June 1 and 2. Donations of men's, women's and children's gym shoes, sandals and boots (no flip flops, please) that are in good condition will be accepted at the office at 1091 S. Roselle Road from 9 a.m.-5 pm. The mission of Share Your Soles is to provide gently worn or new shoes to those in the greatest need around the world. To drop off shoes in advance, call (847) 874-6800 to make arrangements.
The shoe drive is one of two events that the Schaumburg office will hold during KoenigRubloff Realty Group's annual Week of Kindness. The KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation is an Illinois 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to support meaningful local initiatives that improve the communities they serve and enhance the quality of life for our fellow citizens. "We are pleased to support the Share Your Soles organization as a shoe drop off site," said Suzette Brien, Schaumburg Office Manager. She added, "We encourage people to stop by the office to donate their gently worn shoes throughout the business day. Over the course of two days, and with the generous support of our community, we are confident we can make a real impact for Share Your Soles."
The following week, on June 6th, Schaumburg office agents and staff will visit two Little City Foundation group homes to prepare and beautify them for the warmer summer months. They will perform yard clean up including pruning and planting flowers for the residents. Little City Foundation works to ensure that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are provided with the best options and opportunities to live safely, work productively, explore creatively and learn continuously throughout their lifetime. The Schaumburg office has a long history of supporting Little City.
