Put your best foot forward at Schaumburg Summer Dance Concerts

Groove to Town Square for Schaumburg Summer Dance Concerts, sponsored by AMITA Health and Arthur Murray Dance Centers.

Schaumburg Park District's Summer Dance Concerts take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. the first Friday of the month in the Town Square gazebo, located at the corner of Schaumburg and Roselle roads.

The free concerts include an introductory one-hour dance lesson by Arthur Murray instructors from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by live music and dancing from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

"It's such a magical evening," said Cultural Arts Supervisor, Beth Waller. "Nobody leaves without a smile on their face. It's an event where friends meet, couples celebrate anniversaries and families celebrate special occasions."

•June 1-Swing with The Sting Rays

•July 6-Salsa and Bachata with Fiesta

•Aug. 3-Tango and Foxtrot with Eddie Harrison Band
