Secretary of State mobile unit in Hoffman Estates Friday

The Illinois Secretary of State will have a mobile unit at Schaumburg Township hall, 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, June 1.

The unit will offer residents an opportunity to renew, replace or correct driver's license or state ID cards; have their vision screened for license renewal; buy license plate stickers; register to vote; or sign up to be an organ or tissue donor.

No registration is required and cash is not accepted. Road tests are not available and proper identification will be needed for each service. Please call the township at (847) 884-0030 or visit its website for more information on fees and identification.
