Two-vehicle I-90 tollway crash sends one person to hospital

Some lanes on the westbound Jane Addams Tollway near Busse Road were closed temporarily Sunday morning after a two-vehicle crash sent one person to a hospital.

Illinois State Police said the crash occurred about 9:45 a.m. near Elk Grove Village. A man in one of the cars was taken to Alexian Brothers Medical Center after complaining of back and neck pain.

The tollway reported that three lanes initially were closed after the crash, but two were cleared shortly thereafter. All lanes were open to traffic about 40 minutes after the collision.
