Jets enter Day 3 of draft with pick in each of last 4 rounds

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) - The New York Jets head into the final day of the NFL draft with four more picks - at least for now.

They have made only two selections through the first two days after drafting USC quarterback Sam Darnold at No. 3 overall on Thursday night and Fort Hays State defensive lineman Nathan Shepherd in the third round Friday night.

The Jets still have some needs, and could look to add either a pass rusher or depth on the offensive line early Saturday. Offensive tackle Tyrell Crosby of Oregon and outside linebackers Jeff Holland of Auburn and Mississippi's Marquis Haynes could be targets for New York.

New York currently holds one pick each in the fourth (No. 107), fifth (No. 157), sixth (No. 179) and seventh (No. 235) rounds.

General manager Mike Maccagnan could opt to wheel and deal a bit on the draft's final day, as he did last year when he made three trades to add picks.
