A Musical Goodtime At McTeacher's Night with Lincoln Elementary Staff

Lincoln Elementary School held their first McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Highland Park McDonald's. A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school. What an amazing night for Lincoln School!

On Thursday, April 19th, the restaurant was taken over by eighteen teachers and staff members excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families. Teachers and staff members handed out orders, cleaned tables, made ice cream treats, served drinks, and even dressed up in an apple pie costume. School staff members Jordan Smith and Amy Shoemaker dressed in the Pie outfit and what a blast they had mingling with all the families and taking pictures. Principal Jeanne Banas was also in attendance and enjoyed the evening.

The restaurant was filled with beautiful music thanks to the school orchestra directed by Sharon Steckel. The young students did an amazing performance for the students and their families.

The Lincoln Elementary teachers worked hard selling delicious apple pies all night and had a blast. The funds earned from the Pie sales will go towards classroom incentives.

A special thank you goes to Jeanne Banas who organized the event as well as everyone who worked and attended.
