Schaumburg woman accused of targeting ex pleads guilty to misdemeanor assault
A former Hoffman Estates resident who police say attempted to "solicit numerous people" to kill her ex-husband pleaded guilty to an amended charge, according to court records.
Krystyna Bury, 37, now of Schaumburg, recently pleaded guilty to misdemeanor aggravated assault. In exchange, she was sentenced to two years of probation and was ordered to pay $239 in fines.
Court records also show the judge granted a two-year order of protection to the victim.
