Hoffman Dancers Bring Home Gold at Competition

The Hoffman Stars Dance Company competed in the Hall of Fame Dance Challenge at the Schaumburg Convention Center and brought home many awards for their performances at the event held April 13-15. The Hoffman Stars is the dance company of the Hoffman Estates Park District. Dancers must pass an audition to be placed in the dance company.

Soloists Stefani LiPetri, Natalie McHone, and Madison Garcia received High Golds for their performances and Madison Garcia received the "Sweetest Smile" award for her solo performance.

For their duets, the following duos all received High Golds: Riley Dodson and Hannah Fong; Julie Chen and Aleen Soulakian.

The Company 3 won High Golds in the lyrical and jazz categories and the Entertainment Award for jazz. Company 2 won Golds for lyrical and jazz and the "Fabulous Faces" award for jazz. Company 1 won High Golds for their lyrical and jazz performances and the "Showmanship" award for lyrical.

"We are so proud of our dancers and their amazing teachers," said Program Manager Jody Dodson. "They've worked so hard this year and it is paying off."
