St. Alphonsus School Has their First McTeacher's Night

St. Alphonsus Liguori School in Prospect Heights held their first annual McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Mt. Prospect McDonald's on Rand Road. A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school. What an amazing night for St. Alphonsus School!

On Wednesday, April 11th, the restaurant was taken over by twelve teachers and parish staff members excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families. Teachers also handed out orders, cleaned tables, served drinks, and even dressed up in an apple pie costume. Teachers Lori Loquercio and Jamie Marchetti dressed in the Pie outfit and what a blast they had mingling with all the families and taking pictures. St. Alphonsus Athletic member Tony Marchetti even took a spin in the pie costume encouraging the athletes to purchase a pie for a donation!

The St. Alphonsus School teachers worked hard selling delicious apple pies all night and had a blast. The funds earned from the Pie sales will go directly to support the St. Alphonsus Athletics.

A special thank you goes to St. Alphonsus Athletic member Michelle Zalewski who organized the event as well as everyone who worked and attended.

The McTeacher's Night was hosted by the Bear Family Restaurant's and Owner/Operator, David Bear.
