Woodstock man found guilty of sexual assault of a child
A 39-year-old Woodstock man accused of sexually assaulting a girl was found guilty in McHenry County court Thursday.
Anthony V. Ferrara was convicted of one count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to a news release from the McHenry County state's attorney's office.
On Dec. 27, a child younger than 13 told police she was molested by Ferrara on Dec. 26 at his residence.
Ferrara could face up to 67 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for May 23.
