Perspectives on 'pro-life'

Politics and religion aside, I wish everyone could understand that you can be pro-choice AND anti-abortion. The point is, I abhor abortion, I wouldn't encourage anyone to have one. However, I completely support those who choose differently. I believe everyone has the right to safe, affordable medical care. We can't let one issue dictate how we vote. It is imperative that we remember that being pro-choice is not saying we're pro-abortion.

We should also consider the dichotomy of being pro-life and pro-death penalty, pro-life and pro-guns. And then there's the issue of protecting life after birth. Safety in schools, safe neighborhoods, safety nets. Cutting social services is not ethical or moral.
