Schaumburg police report suspicious stranger

Schaumburg police say a man asked four juveniles waiting at a bus stop Wednesday morning if they needed a ride before driving off when they declined.

The encounter occurred at 8 a.m. on the 2500 block of Barkwood Road, police said.

The juveniles described the man as white, 35 to 50 years old, with white or gray hair. He was driving a black four-door vehicle.

The man remained in his vehicle when spoke with the juveniles and left as soon as they told him they were waiting for the bus.
