Swim into springtime with Underwater EGGstravaganza

Have a splashtastic time hunting for eggs at Schaumburg Park District's indoor water park.

Open to children ages 1 and older, Underwater EGGstravaganza is set for 6 to 8 p.m., March 29 at The Water Works, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

After swimming and finding eggs, participants may exchange their baskets for goodie bags. Activities include a DJ, games and refreshments.

"It's an exciting night of swimming, music and springtime fun," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program supervisor.

Hunts will take place by age. The hunt schedule includes:

• 6:15 p.m. (2 and younger)

• 6:30 p.m. (3-4 years)

• 6:45 p.m. (5-6 years)

• 7 p.m. (7-8 years)

• 7:15 p.m. (9 and older)

• 7:30 p.m. (zero-depth pool open for all ages to swim)

Participants should bring baskets or buckets for collecting eggs. Cost is $12 per child for residents and $18 per child for non-residents.
