Outdoor golf is back at Schaumburg Golf Club

A new driving range and more upgrades will make for a great season at Schaumburg Golf Club!

SGC opened for the season March 16, with expanded amenities and options. Golfers also may take advantage of special spring rates through April 15.

As part of the new driving range, players may choose 30 balls for $6.50, 65 balls for $10 and 100 balls for $13. An updated Players Nine Course, with upgraded holes and new and improved greens and bunkers is set to open in July.

"We're very excited for this upcoming season," said Jonathan Parsons, general manager of golf operations. "People have been asking for more variety and options and that's what we're trying to achieve. The new Players Nine will be a lot of fun to play."

The 27-hole championship course is one of the premier destinations for golfers in the northwest suburbs. The course includes manicured bent grass tees, fairways and greens. Smooth terrain and generous playing conditions allow for the course to be played from 6,097 to 6,700 yards.

Other features of Schaumburg Golf Club include:

• Practice range

• Full-service pro shop

• Professional golf instruction

• Chandler's Chophouse

The Club is located at 401 N. Roselle Road, Schaumburg.

Walnut Greens, the District's 9-hole par 3 executive course, will open at a later date.
