Meet an 'American Ninja Warrior' at Challenge Course Skills Camp

Spend spring break learning obstacle course tips and tricks with "American Ninja Warrior" competitor Tyler Yamauchi at Schaumburg Park District!

Children ages 6 to 15 are invited to join the Challenge Course Skills Camp March 27 and 29 at Meineke Park, 220 E. Weathersfield Way. Yamauchi, a three-time competitor on the hit show and two-time Vegas national finalist will teach campers a variety of techniques.

"This is a unique opportunity to learn ways to master these obstacles from one of the best in the world," said Derek Radek, athletics supervisor. "The Challenge Course is still relatively new and we're excited to showcase it."

Campers will be divided by age. Camp times include:

• 9:45-10:45 a.m., March 27 and 29, ages 6-10

• 11 a.m.-noon, March 27 and 29, ages 11-15

Registration is required. Cost is $20 per child for residents and $25 per child for non-residents.
