Celebrate 'Fun in the Sun' at your summer birthday bash

Summer birthdays are super awesome with Schaumburg Park District outdoor pool parties!

Fun in the Sun Parties are available at Atcher Island, 730 S. Springinsguth Road, Bock Pool, 1223 W. Sharon Lane and Meineke Pool, 220 E. Weathersfield Way. Parties include picnic tables for one hour, swimming and pizza or hot dog and chips served by a party host. Paperware and drinks also are included.

"Everyone loves a pool party," said Heather Hagstrom, aquatics supervisor. "The party guests get to splash and play, and get a great meal. Parents only need to provide a cake and we do the rest."

The District also offers paddle boat parties at Volkening Lake, 900 W. Schaumburg Road. Parties include two hours of unlimited paddle boating, with popcorn provided as a snack or to feed the fish.
