Loop the lakes in Century Park

The 18th Annual Loop the Lakes 5K Run/Walk is at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at the Century Park pavilion, 1401 Indianwood Drive, Vernon Hills. The course is USA Track & Field/Road RunningTechnical Council certified and the event supports the park district scholarship program. Fee is $25. Post-race snacks and water will be provided. Awards are given to best overall male and female, as well as the top three finishers for each age group. Packet pickup will be on-site before to the race.
