No injuries in Lake Barrington house fire

No injuries were reported after a house fire Tuesday morning on the 28500 block of Lindbergh Drive in Lake Barrington, authorities said.

Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District crews received the call at 8:43 a.m. and arrived on the scene in less than four minutes. No fire was immediately visible but an initial investigation located smoke coming from a basement window.

The fire was extinguished, but the scene remained under investigation.

Assistance was provided by firefighters from Barrington, Carpentersville, Cary, Fox Lake, Fox River Grove, Lake Zurich, Long Grove and Palatine.
