Kaneland Arts Initiative to host comedy night Feb. 16
On Friday, Feb. 16, Kaneland Arts Initiative will present "Comedy Knight" featuring the comedy improv of Green Room Improv. Green Room Improv is a comedy show similar in style to the popular television show, "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
GreenRoom takes audience suggestions and true-life audience stories and turns them into hilarious theater pieces right before your eyes! The shows include competing improv teams, improvised songs, audience members onstage, tons of energy and an unforgettable evening.
Also during the evening, selected students' artwork from Kaneland McDole and Kaneland John Shields elementary schools will be on display in the auditorium lobby.
The students will be honored during the evening. Online tickets for "Comedy Knight" are $10, $8 for seniors and $5 for students. Tickets purchased on the night of the event will be an additional $2. Tickets can be purchase now at www.kanelandartsinitiative.org.
Also, from the Kaneland Arts Initiative, raffle tickets are being sold to win two tickets to the Monday, March 26 Blackhawks versus the San Jose Sharks game. Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. game at the United Center include a parking pass. The seats are in section 333, row 2, seats 1 & 2 and can be purchased by contacting Maria at kai@kaneland.org.
