"Figments " is the story of Rick Jacobs, a playwright with a wild imagination - perhaps too wild. As his thoughts bounce between his frustrating love life and the play he is struggling to write, the real people and the figments of his imagination come together and clash in hilarious combinations.

"'Figments' is very Walter Mitty-esque, as our protagonist, Rick, is the only one who can see the craziness around him as the characters in his imagination take over his life," said Jonathan Meier, the play's director.

"The play is a nice combination of a sweet love story, combined with some crazy broad comedy," said senior Dan Haller, who plays Rick.

"The biggest challenge for me is that I have to be onstage pretending to not see all the nuttiness that is going on around me," said senior Maddie Martorana, who plays Rick's' love interest, Loni. "It takes a lot of concentration."

Other seniors in the cast are Joshua Saunders, Emily Saunders, Ryan Story, Brianna Moderhack, Ginny Zundel and Henry Dumblauskas. Rounding out the cast are Jake Cumberland, Sydney Litka, Colin Nacion, Natalie Williams, Halli Carpender and Allan Rodriquez.

The stage manager is Josie Hutson and the assistant directors are Rachel Larson and Miriam Mitry.

The understudy cast consists of Matthew Callas, Sierra Bouchard, Katie Staroszczyk, Colby Willis, Mary McMurray, Trevor Freeman, Steven Weiss, Annalise Welsch, Bella Buono, Roy Dumblauskas, Charlie Dennis, Alexis Lee, Brandon Neyzelman and Ashley Carrier.

The understudy stage manager is Joslyn Gange.
