Schaumburg Tennis Plus named Facility of the Year

The Schaumburg Park District's Schaumburg Tennis Plus Sports & Fitness Club has been named Chicago Tennis Patrons' 2017 Facility of the Year.

Chicago Tennis Patrons, the fundraising arm of the Chicago District Tennis Organization, works to create opportunities for children to play the sport of tennis regardless of income.

Located at 1416 N. Payne Road, Schaumburg Tennis Plus offers a variety of amenities including eight indoor tennis courts, a fitness center and fitness studio, a four-lane lap pool, six racquetball courts, a basketball court, a multisport court for volleyball and badminton and a bar and grill.

The award will be presented Feb. 17 at the 29th Annual Chicago Tennis Patrons' Evening of Champions in Des Plaines.
