Winning images of our weekly contest

Not even a full week of the new year and I was already getting cabin fever. So, I decided to go along the Fox River and check out the Bald Eagles. Although the temperature was still in single digits, it felt great to be outdoors. And I didn't have to do much walking. I saw about 15 Eagles that day, including this immature Bald Eagle, who seemed to be enjoying the warmth of the sun. Bonnie Graham of Lombard
