Carols usher in Christmas at St. Mary of Vernon

A concert of carols ushered in Christmas Eve Mass on Sunday afternoon at St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church in Indian Creek. Parishioners crowded into the church early to enjoy the music.

After the music concluded, the Rev. Joe Curtis called up the children before the start of the Mass to help him place baby Jesus in the manger.
