Lake in the Hills man faces child porn charges
A 50-year-old Lake in the Hills man faces federal child pornography charges after authorities said graphic images of minors were found on multiple computers in his possession.
Paul Christmann was indicted Tuesday by a grand jury in Rockford on multiple counts of transporting and possessing child pornography, including some allegations dating to 2013.
According to court papers, Christmann is accused of distributing child pornography and possessing the images.
If convicted of the distribution charge, he could face a maximum 20-year prison sentence. The possession charges carry a maximum 10-year sentence.
It's unknown if Christmann is in custody or when his next court date is scheduled.
