Armstrong third- and fourth-graders pack meals at Feed My Starving Children

On Dec. 13 Armstrong third- and fourth-grade classes visited Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg, where they worked together to pack 23,112 meals. That's 107 boxes of food, which will feed 63 children for a year.

"Wow - that is so great!" one student exclaimed when the total was revealed.

Armstrong students have also been fundraising to support the organization and share the importance of "choosing kindness" through their actions. The school donated $300 to Feed My Starving Children, which will feed four children for almost a year.
