Island Lake board to talk taxes

The Island Lake village board meets Thursday to approve the annual property tax levy and discuss a proposed land purchase at Dorothy Court Beach, among other issues. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. at village hall, 3720 Greenleaf Ave. The session is open to the public.
