Prairie Center Arts Foundation Launches Giving Tuesday Campaign
Celebrate giving! Help the Prairie Center Arts Foundation (PCAF) enrich lives on "Giving Tuesday," November 28, 2017.
Giving Tuesday reminds us that the spirit of the holiday season is about giving. You've heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday - Giving Tuesday is a chance to donate to an organization that enhances your quality of life while encouraging others to donate with you. This November 28th, join the global movement and give to the Prairie Center Arts Foundation.
The Prairie Center Arts Foundation (PCAF) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the growth and excellence of cultural arts in the community. Your donation helps fund programs such as the Season of Entertainment at the Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts, Prairie Center Youth Programs (including Schaumburg Youth Orchestra, Schaumburg Choir and Schaumburg Dance Ensemble and more), and Theatre Buddies & Arts Partners, outreach programs that provide access to the performing arts to at-risk and under-served populations.
"The arts draw communities together. Supporting the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts helps make cultural arts accessible to everyone in our shared community," said Theresa Olvera, Executive Director of the PCAF. "We hope individuals will consider one of several ways to donate on Giving Tuesday, from cash donations to employer-matched gifts to stock transfers."
The foundation also asks patrons to consider the Prairie Center Arts Foundation when making Planned Giving arrangements.
The arts enhance our quality of life in many ways because of their ability to entertain, educate, strengthen the community and inspire. The Prairie Center Arts Foundation is able to support these efforts, in part, through individual donations from the public and corporations. Donations to the Prairie Center Arts Foundation may be made via the web site, www.pcafoundation.org or by calling (847) 923-3608.
