Lavelle Law Charities Donates $2500 to Schaumburg Township Food Pantry

In keeping with their annual tradition of assisting those in need during the holiday season, Lavelle Law Charities has made a $2,500 donation to the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry. The funds will be used to provide food for the more than 700 families that utilize the pantry each month.

"For more than a decade, Lavelle Law has been committed to fighting hunger in the suburbs," said Managing Partner Ted McGinn. "Following our move to Schaumburg earlier this year we want to establish our commitment to our new neighbors with this donation."

The Schaumburg Township Food Pantry serves families and individuals in Schaumburg Township by making all types of food including produce, fruit and meat available throughout the year. The food pantry is a client choice operation which means patrons can walk through the pantry and select the items they are looking for to feed their family. Appointments are required and can be made by calling (847) 884-0030.

"We know that many people are facing difficult times despite their very best efforts," said McGinn. "We hope this $2,500 donation will help brighten the holidays for some of those people."
