Family New Year's Eve party in Vernon Hills

The Vernon Hills Park District will hold a New Year's Eve family party from 4 to 6:30 p.m., Dec. 31, at the Sullivan Community Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive.

The event will feature a DJ, pizza and an ice cream sundae bar. The gym will be open for play and the party will finish with a countdown at 6 p.m.

Admission is $9, with no charge for children 2 or under. Tickets are available at http://www.vhparkdistrict.org/ or at the Sullivan center.
