Jaguars place long-snapper Overton on IR, sign Holba

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed a second long-snapper on injured reserve.

The team put veteran Matt Overton on IR and signed free agent Colin Holba to fill his spot on the 53-man roster Tuesday. Holba will make his NFL debut Sunday at Cleveland.

Overton injured his right shoulder against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. He joins Carson Tinker on IR. Tinker tore a ligament in his right knee in August and had season-ending surgery.

Holba was a sixth-round draft pick by Pittsburgh in April. The Steelers released him in final roster cuts in September.
