Schaumburg business leaders hear about empowerment of sports

Kam Buckner, executive director of World Sport Chicago, addressed the Schaumburg Business Association Tuesday on how his organization seeks to expand opportunities for youth in Chicago's most under-resourced communities through sports.

Buckner formerly served as the Chicago Cubs' manager of government and neighborhood relations.

World Sport Chicago is the nonprofit legacy of the city's bid for the 2016 Olympic Games.
