More Local Non Profits Work Together to Raise Awareness for #GivingTuesday

November 14, 2017 Naperville-Illinois First there was Black Friday followed by Cyber Monday but recently the most important spending day has become GivingTuesday. A number of Naperville area nonprofits have rallied together to promote local donations on November 28th.

"For the past 22 years, Our Children's Homestead has played an integral role in supporting Illinois' most traumatized foster care youth; serving over 1,000 foster youth, and matching over 200 youth with disabilities with a forever family. Your support allows us to offer the normalcy our youth deserve, through services above and beyond our contractual obligations." Stated Jacqueline Stogsdill Director of Community Relations and Resource Development.

Residents can contribute directly to the Our Children's Homestead and these other nonprofits including: Literacy DuPage; Naperville YMCA; Community Career Center; Pull-up Bars for Patriots; Easter Seals of DuPage and Fox Valley; A.D.O.P.T Pet Shelter; Side By Side Smiles at www.napervillegivesmore.com.
