Harper College employees helping out local schools

Hundreds of employees from Harper College are volunteering this week at schools and on campus as part of Doing More Together week, in recognition of the college's 50th anniversary.

On Thursday morning, volunteers assembled wooden raised beds for a garden at Hawthorne Early Childhood School in Wheeling Township Elementary District 21. Students came outside to watch and learn about the construction process.
