Girls volleyball: Maine West shares CSL North crown

Maine West's girls volleyball team celebrated Senior Night by earning a share of the Central Suburban North title on Thursday night with a 25-21, 25-16 victory over visiting Highland Park.

The Warriors improved their record to 22-13 and finished at 8-2 in the CSL North.

Leading West was Jessica Riedl (10 kills, 3 blocks), Ally Block (25 assists), Amanda Grzebien (8 kills) and Reilly Olson (10 digs).

Riedl, Grzebien, Christy Kolosvary, Bianca Mando and Sophia Saldana were the recognized seniors for the Warriors prior to the match.

"They helped lead the way for us this season," said Maine West coach Mike Cott.
