Roosevelt pianists to perform in Schaumburg Oct. 20

Roosevelt University's seven winning Chicago College of Performing Arts student pianists will perform a free recital at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at Friendship Village, 350 W. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg.

The students who won this year's annual piano showcase competition hail from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico and West Chicago, Illinois.

Performing recitals this fall across the Chicago area, this year's group of winners is one of the most globally diverse ever to showcase its talent during CCPA's annual PianoFest.
