Girls volleyball: Maine West improves to 7-2 in CSL North

Maine West's girls volleyball team posted a 27-25, 25-19 victory on Monday night over host Glenbrook North to raise its record to 21-13 and 7-2 in the Central Suburban North.

Leading the Warriors on attack were Jessica Riedl (6 kills, 2 blocks) and Amanda Grzebien (5 kills, 2 aces, 12 digs)

Ally Block set the offense with 19 assists while also putting down a pair of kills.

The Warriors will host Highland Park on Thursday for senior night and a share of the conference championship.
