Schaumburg Chuy's to open Oct. 17

Austin-based Chuy's Tex-Mex restaurant will open its second Chicago-area location on Tuesday, Oct. 17, outside Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg at 1701 E. Golf Road.

Chuy's recently opened its first area restaurant in Warrenville and is scheduled to open a third in Orland Park in 2018.

Each Chuy's restaurant partners with a local charity that serves a vital role in the area.

For the Schaumburg opening, Chuy's has partnered with the Woodfield Area Children's Organization (WACO), an all-volunteer nonprofit that has served disadvantaged children in the Northwest and Western suburbs since 1979.
