Boston sculptor to perform 'Weather Scores' piano concert

Boston artist Nathalie Miebach will perform "Weather Scores," original pieces for piano, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at Aurora University's Tapper recital hall, 1315 Prairie St. in Aurora.

The public is invited. Admission and parking are free.

The concert is In conjunction with the artist's "Strange Weather: Nathalie Miebach," an exhibit of 20 weather science-based sculptures at the university's Schingoethe Center museum, 1315 Prairie St. in Aurora.

"Strange Weather" runs through Dec. 12. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.

After an exhibit-opening reception Sept. 28, Miebach delivered a public slide lecture, "Weaving Science Data into Sculpture and Music," in Tapper Hall.
