Algonquin school has colorful fundraiser
The Heineman Middle School PTO held its third annual Color a Thon run Friday in Algonquin to support the purchase of new materials for the school.
More than 400 students participated in the event, which raised more than $9,000 for purchases including technology and standing desks.
